Weeks 31 & 32

Sunday October 23-Saturday October 29

EVENTS OF SIGNIFICANCE
Tuesday October 25: Appointment Day. I didn't gain any weight from my last visit and again my doctor got after me. So I've only put on five pounds overall. I just don't get it, I eat all the time! Heartbeat was 146, nice and strong like always.

Nothing else happened this week. I've been so busy working that I get home and just want to sleep. I did have overtime hours this week which is always nice come payday :)

Sunday October 30-Saturday November 5

EVENTS OF SIGNIFICANCE
Monday October 31: My mom bought me fabric so I can make the crib bedding and it arrived. It's beautiful! I can's wait to get started!

Wednesday November 2: Started working on the bedding. I am way too pregnant to be crawling on the floor cutting fabric, but still enjoying sewing.I'll post pictures as soon as I'm done.

Friday November 4: Both Manny and I had the day off so we took off bright and early and went fishing. Manny got skunked by the fish. Not even a bite, and I was freezing the whole time. I'm still glad we were able to spend the day together though since they seem to be far and in between these days.

WISDOM BY TY (WBT): Don't lock the med cart keys in the med cart. Dang I'm having a hard time with this key thing!

Week 30

Sunday October 16-Saturday October 22

29 weeks
This is for all of you who complain to me that
I never post pictures. You know who you are :)
EVENTS OF SIGNIFICANCE
Monday October 17: It's official! I am now a LPN! YAY!

Tuesday October 18: And so it begins. Manny started open gyms. This is just the begining. Next will be tryouts, then practices till 7:30 at night, and then two to three games a week. I'm not going to lie I'm pretty excited for all of it. What can I say I'm a coaches wife :)

WBT: It's okay if you break a plate every now and again...your pregnant.

Weeks 27, 28, & 29

Sunday September 25- Saturday October 1

EVENTS OF SIGNIFICANCE
Monday September 26: I finally scheduled my NCLEX exam, October 13 @ 8am. I hope my brain is functioning that early in the morning.

Friday September 30: Massage Day. I can't believe I've never had a massage! It was absolutely wonderful! Followed by a just as wonderful pedicure!

Sunday October 2-Saturday October 8

Unfortunately nothing really happened this week besides working a ton. The next week was a different story.

Sunday October 9-Saturday October15

EVENTS OF SIGNIFICANCE
Tuesday October 11: Appointment Day. We're right on track. I finally gained enough weight that my doctor got off my back. So far only nine pounds, not too bad if I may say so myself. Her heartrate was 152, still beating away, and I done to two a month! Wow I can't believe how fast this is all going!

Thursday October 13: The worst test of my life day! I seriously had no idea what the answer was to any of the questions. I was maybe only confident on my answer for five questions, and that might be pushing it a bit.  Only time will tell.

Friday October 14: Moving day. Sal and Meghan are coming back to Boise, that's their plan for now, so we had to move out of their house. Manny took the day off of work and my dad, mom, and Tren came down to help us out. I'm so greatful for their help! I don't know if we would've been able to do it without them. Thanks guys! We like our new place, it's close to both of our work, and homey. It is old and a little creaky though. We we're finally able to set up the crib and short of get going on the baby room. All I have to do now is make the bumpers, crib bedding, and finish the dresser. I better get a move on it!

Saturday October 15: I am unoffically a LPN! I got my unofficail results back and I passed! Words cannot explain how I feel. I love it!

WBT: Don't leave work with the med chart keys after a long day's work. It's a really long drive back.

Week 25 & 26

I was bad again these last couple of weeks, but nothing has really been going on with the little one. I feel it might be getting redundant and boring, but I do like looking back and remembering when everything was happening. Plus I've got chastise by a few people for not posting in awhile.  I think we're pretty set on a name as of now. Everything else just doesn't feel right. As of now we're going with Alyvia (like Olivia).

Sunday September 11-Saturday September 17

EVENTS OF SIGNIFICANCE
Monday September 12: I finally got the dresser to Boise. Thanks to the new car! I bet Tab is glad to have it out of her garage. Typical of me I had to start my project right away cause I won't do anything else til it's done. I'll post before and after pics when I get it all done.

Friday September 16: After three calls and multiple emails to the Board of Nursing, I finally got my temp license. Of all the people the could have messed up on, of course it was me! They processed my papers wrong. Now I don't have to stock the mailman every day.

Sunday September 18-Saturday September 24

EVENTS OF SIGNIFICANCE
Wednesday September 21: My first day of orientation as a nurse. It's so much better than wiping big, stinky bums! It's weird for everyone to have me there as the nurse, especially the residents. One of them keeps saying, "I don't know you as the nurse, I only know you as the aid. You use to pick me up and put me in my car, but now you don't know how anymore." He's funny...doesn't do well with any kind of change.

Friday September 23: It's my birthday (Leslie that's for you)! It was great day. I had to work, and got let down a little bit. All I wanted for a present at work was to be able to cath someone, but he didn't have enough in his bladder to have to cath him. So disappointing! Another day I guess. Later Manny and I went to Applebee's and Borah's homecoming football game at Boise State. It was a beautiful night. Manny gave me a massage and pedicure. I can't wait to go, it's just what I'm needing right now!

WISDOM BY TY: I'm drawing a blank right now...maybe later.

Week 24

Sunday September 4-Saturday September 10

EVENTS OF SIGNIFICANCE
Sunday September 4-September August 5: After church Adin, Guel, Manny and I joined Rick and Krystal camping up past Idaho City. We did a lot of fishing and scaling the river banks to get to the perfect fishing hole. The boys caught some pretty good fish and they tasted good too!
Manny had the catch of the trip.

Adin being a dork, like usual.
Tuesday September 6: Doctor's appointment. It was my GTT appointment. The drink actually wasn't too bad...until the last couple of sips. Our little ear of corn's heartbeat was 161, uterus 24 inches (just were it should be), and zero pounds on weight gain still. My doctor was a little worried she said I must have a fast metabolism and to eat more fats and proteins instead of carbs. No carbs! I have to have my noodles! All I could think was I definitely had no problem gaining weight before I got pregnant.

Friday September 9-Sunday September 11: The annual Tomato Days. I have no idea where my mom came up with that name but it's new this year. Manny and I headed to Bear Lake right after he got done with school so we could catch a play at Pickleville Playhouse, we barely made it in time. Saturday we made and canned spaghetti sauce. It's an all day event, but a fun one!

WISDOM BY TY (WBT): Camping is not the best place to get sick. Don't do it!

Week 23

Sunday August 28- Saturday September 3

The little spaghetti squash has been moving so much. She is constantly letting me know that she's there. She's a little sticker thought. Every time Manny's around and I have him feel my stomach, she stops moving. So stubborn! She is so strong. She is already visibly moving my stomach.

EVENTS OF SIGNIFICANCE
Sunday August 28-Wednesday August 31: Sal, Meghan, and Beckam came to Boise it's always nice seeing them since they live so far away. I can't believe how big Beckam is getting. It's fun to see what our little spaghetti squash  is going to be like in a year.

Monday August 29: It's been three years since I met my best friend. It's so crazy how fast time flies! When I woke up in the morning, Lilly came up and wanted to get loved. She laid on my stomach and the little one went crazy. I thought she was going to kick Lilly completely off. I guess someone was a little jealous :)

Friday September 2-Monday September 5: Adin came to Boise. We went to Borah's first football game and of coursed watched Boise States first football game against Georgia. We also took our last camping trip of the season with Guel, Rick, Krystal, and her family.

WISDOM BY TY (WBT): People are going to touch your stomach whether you let them, or just met them two minutes ago...just go with it.

Week 21 & 22

I was naughty last week and never got around to posting. I was just so busy studying for my finals.

Sunday August 14- Saturday August 20

EVENTS OF SIGNIFICANCE
Friday August 18: My last day of clinicals! It felt to nice to finally be done! No more dumb instructors!

Besides that it was a pretty boring week.

Sunday August 21- Saturday August 27

EVENTS OF SIGNIFICANCE
Tuesday August 23: We had another ultrasound. It's fun to be able to see our little carrot on the screen. She's a mover. The tech would find what she needed then she would move and she would have to find it all over again. They said she weighs 15 oz. She's getting so big!

Not as good as the other body shot

Hands to go with the feet

Wednesday August 24: Last day of LPN school!

Thursday August 25: I had my LPN pinning ceremony. It's feels so good to finally be done. I've waited for so many years to become a nurse and now it's finally happening. I still have a long ways to go though. Eventually, I'll have my RN, but for now I'm just glad I don't have to clean up blow outs and pop dentures out of people's mouths. I'm finally the nurse! My dad, mom, Tren, and Judy came up for the ceremony. Thanks for all your support! Also thanks to Manny for all his support. He was so good to me while I was in school. He's the best! Pictures to come later (Deb has them all on her camera).

Friday August 26: Petey had his first Varsity Football game at Woodriver. We packed up Guel, Lacy, Rick, and Krystal and headed to it. His team won, and we were glad he had a game relatively close to Boise.

Saturday August 27: Manny and I went to the Western Idaho Fair. It's was a good day night. We ate fair food, people watched, and laughed at the hypnotist.

WISDOM BY TY: Beware of fair food. You may find yourself needing something for both ends at the same time.
